Solidarity
All hands on deck! The crowds got up early this morning to welcome with full honours Artaius as she entered the Port of Bridgetown. Solidarity between the sailors of the Panerai Transat Classique has been truly exceptional. After having shared the same route, the same adventure and the same emotions, an incredible fraternity has developed among the competing crews. For father and son Joël and Jérôme Lunot, Bérangère the skipper and Morgann, arriving in the middle of the night in Barbados marks the end of a fantastic voyage. They made a surprisingly fast crossing with their magnificent replica of a Bristol pilot cutter. Numerous messages sent back to their fans on land, filled with humour and emotion, showed just how convivial the atmosphere was aboard. The welcome they received was equal to the pleasure they have given the followers of the Panerai Transat Classique 2012.
