Oyster Yachts Recognised in International Awards
Oyster 625 – Wins Best Production Sailing Yacht in 2012 Asia Boating Awards
The award winning Oyster 625 has been honoured with the prestigious ‘Best Production Sailing Yacht’ award in the 15m to 30m category of the 2012 Asia Boating Awards, adding to the many accolades this fantastic yacht has already received. The award was presented to Oyster’s Hong Kong based Representative, Bart Kimman, during a glittering ceremony at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Hong Kong.
The Oyster 625 also won the 2012 European Yacht of the Year award, which was presented during the Düsseldorf Boat Show earlier this year.
Oyster 100 by Dubois – Finalist in the 2012 ShowBoats Design Awards
Sarafin, the first of the Oyster 100s by Dubois to be launched, has been announced as a Finalist in both the ‘Exterior Design and Styling’ and ‘Newcomer of the Year’ categories in the 2012 Showboats Design Awards.
The ShowBoats Design Awards honour the industry’s creative talents, bringing the specialist design skills of the industry’s most talented teams into the spotlight. Awarded to the designers of a qualifying sailing yacht considered to be the most inspiring and practical, while providing the deck features demanded by the owner, the Exterior Design and Styling award recognises the quality of the design, its innovation, layout, seagoing functionality, innovative features and its impact on the ability of the crew to perform their duties.
Sarafin also won a ‘Highly Commended’ award in the recent World Superyacht Awards, with the judges selecting the yacht for the award as, “Worthy for its design, wide appeal and high quality of build.”
