GN Espace launches the Gourmet, a stylish compact cooker for motorboats and catamarans for that home-from-home experience
Specialist galley manufacturer GN Espace has unveiled a brand new cooker range, the electric induction Gourmet.
Aimed squarely aimed at the stylish interior of an motorboat, catamaran or river boat the exceptional energy efficiency of the Gourmet makes it the choice for every type of off-grid living.
The sparkling glass finish of the Gourmet shows off its unique aesthetic style and the sleek surface comes into its own on boats that don’t heel, because gimbals aren’t required. This cutting-edge product is not just designed to look good – the Gourmet leads the way in innovative and sustainable energy savings too.
The Gourmet is available as both a complete cooker and as a built-in oven. It is offered in two sizes, the Gourmet 500 induction cooker/oven at 500mm wide and the Gourmet 450 induction cooker/oven at a more compact 450mm. With these choices the Gourmet can slot into an often confined galley without compromise or take advantage of more space to offer a greater cooking capacity.
The Gourmet 500 cooker features a 3-zone hob plus single cavity 1800W multi-function 30 litre oven and grill while the Gourmet 450 cooker has two cooking zones on the hob and a1250W 23 litre oven capacity. GN Espace cookers achieve 25-30% lower electricity consumption compared to similar domestic appliances so battery consumption is optimised. Both have easy to use rotary controls, and the stand-alone ovens have the same features.
As trends towards electric boating, sustainability and low energy consumption intensify GN Espace is proud to lead the way by creating exceptionally high-quality cookers using marine grade stainless steel components. At the same time, these cookers provide the highest energy efficiency available to onboard electric cooking while withstanding the wear and tear of life on board.
