GAMESA FINISH NINTH, GOLDING’S FIRST REACTIONS

Mike Golding and Bruno Dubois on board  the IMOCA Open 60 Gamesa crossed the finish line of the Transat Jacques Vabre in ninth place this Sunday morning, November 20 at 11h42mn 10sec UTC/GMT. That sets an elapsed time for the theoretical course of 4730 miles from Le Havre to Puerto Limon, Costa Rica of 17 days, 21 hours,42 minutes and 9 seconds, sailing at an average speed 11.01knots. They sailed an actual distance of  5304 milles at an average of  12,34kts
