Capoforte launches the new color “blu mirtillo” at boot Dusseldorf 2024
The brand’s prowess in innovation, foresight in anticipating trends, and its adeptness at crafting novel styles are unmistakably showcased not only through the introduction of new models but also in its commitment to pushing boundaries in color aesthetics. Once again, Capoforte demonstrates its role as a true trendsetter by unveiling an exclusive and fresh color at boot Dusseldorf 2024 (January 20-28, Hall 4, Stand B60), thus expanding the already impressive palette of the shipyard.
Named “blu mirtillo,” it can be admired at the German boat show to dress the CX250i and SX280i models and it can be requested across the entire Capoforte range.
“The idea originated from the desire to conceive a color capable not only of creating a trend but also of combining the lively character with a contemporary elegance, typical of the Capoforte spirit,” explains Christian Grande. “A color that maintains the inherent class in the spectrum of blues, ideal for maritime settings, blending it with the dynamism and energy of a hint of magenta, expressed through exposure to light, so that the shaded parts are less prominent, with traits that we could almost define as iridescent. ‘Blu mirtillo’ is a color that harmonizes perfectly with the cognac of the upholstery and the matte metallic Sunset Gold dashboard.”
Capoforte CX250i
The outboard Capoforte CX250i is conceived to concentrate lots of equipment with high level comfort and encase them all in a small space. The choice of a sterndrive, with a hull especially designed for it, allows for a spacious stern platform that excels in comfort while at anchor and at the same time makes it easy to come aboard from the dock. The reclining L- shaped settee extends the sunbathing zone towards the cockpit.
The control console is vertically developed, providing very precise control over the boat thanks to the carefully studied ergonomics common to the entire CX range. The heart of the living zone is set amidships with a standup driver’s seat, easily transformable to complete the stern dinette and giving another seat to those who love to enjoy their boat with friends. This is standard equipment. Protection from the midday sun comes from the retractable awning that opens over the entire living area.
Below deck we have an open space with a corner washroom featuring a cabinet that holds the wc when not needed, while a very roomy cabinet to the left of the stairs guarantees ample storage space. These are all featured in a luminous ambience, thanks to two wide side windows that increase the perceptions of the outdoor spaces and reduce the effect of the hull as an architectural barrier.
You must not be distracted by the beauty of the finishings and fine detailing from the noteworthy seakeeping qualities of the hull, always easily driven and smooth riding even in rough water.
The sterndrive option also throws out 250HP, driving the Capoforte CX250i up to a top speed of 36 knots, with a comfortable cruising speed of 25 knots.
