The Superyacht People – Australia’s leading yacht brokerage – is delighted to showcase the 29-metre (98ft) Falcon-built motor yacht NORSEMAN at the upcoming Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show along Australia’s spectacular Gold Coast. The annual yacht show, from 23 to 26th May, is Australia’s largest boating showcase, with yacht NORSEMAN anticipated to be one of the highlights of the show. |
The leading authority on Australia’s superyacht market Cameron Bray, founder and director of The Superyacht People, will be on hand to showcase the spectacular Italian-built NORSEMAN and provide his expert advice and industry intelligence on the booming yacht charter market in Australia, including the growing demand for adventure travel with bespoke and highly exclusive experiences both onboard and onshore. As Chairman of Superyacht Queensland, an elected committee member of Superyacht Australia, and the recipient of the 2023 Australian Marine Industry Champion, Cameron is considered the leading authority on Australia’s superyacht industry. |
Fresh from attending the MYBA Charter Show in Genoa, Italy, and the Mediterranean Yacht Show in Greece, Cameron will also advise attendees on the Mediterranean yacht charter market. This market is growing in appeal, with wealthy Australians seeking to enjoy luxury holidays exploring some of the Med’s most exclusive yachting hotspots.
The Mediterranean remains the world’s most exclusive yachting destination, with some of the most elegant itineraries, including the UNESCO-listed Amalfi Coast, the French Riviera, and island-hopping adventures in the Greek Islands.
Cameron explains:
“As one of the only Australian brokers attending the above shows in Greece and Italy, it was clear very early on how many Australians charter in the Mediterranean. As a young country with a small population, we punch above our weight in the yachting world.
“What was also evident is that Australians would prefer to deal with brokers in their own country, on their own time zone who understand how Aussies use yachts. We’re not as interested in sitting off the popular anchorages just to be seen, we want to explore, experience the local culture, eat and drink their food and wines.
“These shows enable us to tighten our contacts on the ground to ensure we source the ideal yacht and build the perfect itinerary for our clients. We give them the assurance and security the right contracts are being used and their charter funds are safe.”
