AIATA made its debut at Boot Düsseldorf 2025, presenting the high performance walkaround Wayfinder 38. The product was met with enthusiasm from both the public and industry professionals thanks to its unique modular design and exceptional craftsmanship. On display the 3 different configurations available: Cabin, Suntop and Fishing. Backed by an initial €15 million investment from Anadolu Group, the company plans to produce 38 units in 2025 and expand its lineup with the Wayfinder 48, set to launch in 2026.
AIATA, the newest name in Turkish boatbuilding, made a remarkable first appearance at Boot Düsseldorf 2025 with the global debut of the Wayfinder 38. This milestone marks a strong start for the company, as the reception from both the public and industry professionals was overwhelmingly positive. The product was praised for its modular design and exceptional craftsmanship.
The three displayed units showcased the model’s versatility, with each one configured differently to highlight the extensive range of possibilities. Visitors praised the Wayfinder 38’s design by the award-winning designer, Jarkko Jämsén, blending aesthetics with technical precision and practicality.
What captivated boat enthusiasts and industry professionals the most was the modularity of the Wayfinder 38, which allows the boat to adapt and evolve based on the diverse needs of its owners. Whether these needs change over the years or even in the short term, depending on the seasonality or specific use of the boat, the Wayfinder 38 offers unparalleled flexibility. The model provides configurations that enable seamless customization, allowing customers to transition between open and closed deck designs to suit their preferences. “An open-deck boat can be converted into a closed-deck model and vice versa, even years later. Such flexibility is unprecedented in this category, with patents secured globally for these modular features” said Yuktun Tok, General Manager at Anadolu Motor.
The company’s rapid progress has been fueled by a substantial initial investment of €15 million from Anadolu Group. This financial backing ensured a secure conversion of its facilities and boasts a robust foundation for AIATA’s ambitious plans. AIATA’s state-of-the-art factory spans 20,000 square meters in Çayırova, Istanbul, Turkey, and is equipped with advanced robotic technologies and modern manufacturing techniques. This facility is supported by a highly qualified internal workforce, ensuring the highest standards of precision, quality, and craftsmanship in every boat produced.
Looking ahead, the company aims to produce up to 38 hulls of the debut model Wayfinder 38 units in 2025, with production numbers expected to scale up progressively. Measuring 11.57 meters in length with a 3.49-meter beam, the Wayfinder 38 is powered by outboard motors offering up to 850 HP. Its spacious layout and modular features make it suitable for both leisure and fishing activities, accommodating a wide variety of user needs.
AIATA is also expanding its range with the development of the Wayfinder 48, a larger and more advanced model created in collaboration again with Finnish designer Jarkko Jämsén and his team at Navia Design. The design and production process are already underway, with plans to unveil the Wayfinder 48 at Boot Düsseldorf 2026.
“The enthusiastic feedback at Boot Düsseldorf 2025 has reinforced our confidence in the Wayfinder 38’s potential to reshape expectations in this category,” said Mr. Tok. “Our modular approach and commitment to quality craftsmanship have resonated strongly with visitors, and this is just the beginning.”
As part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing the customer experience, AIATA is excited to announce the launch of its new website www.aiataboats.com, which now features an advanced online configurator. This powerful tool allows customers to independently explore various configuration possibilities for the Wayfinder 38. Users can experiment with different layouts, add optional features, and view detailed cost breakdowns for each selection. This transparency enables customers to tailor their boats to their precise needs and budget, making the purchasing process more engaging and informative than ever before.
