Axopar Boats to launch two new exciting models, The Axopar 28 Cabin and AC
The new Finnish brand of premium motorboats introduces the Axopar 28 Cabin and AC, the next models in their line-up to hit the markets in 2014.
The Axopar 2014 range consists of four models, an Open-, T-Top, Cabin- and AC model. These two new models continue to feature the company’s philosophy of building boats that are exhilarating to drive, competitively priced and fuel-efficient.
The Axopar 28 Cabin and the Axopar 28 AC are multifunctional crafts with modern smart lines featuring a walk-around deck that make the boats accessible and easy to handle. The boats feature a fully enclosable cabin that is spacious, bright and comfortable and introduces a large sliding canvas roof, the first of its kind in this boat segment, to invite the sun and warm summer breeze. This combined with the two very wide sliding doors really opens up the cockpit.
The Axopar 28 AC introduces a spacious aft cabin with a berth for two that is accessed from inside the cabin and also thru the large cargo hatch on the aft deck. Sundeck cushions for the aft cabin roof or a large cargo rack are optional. The AC model also accommodates two persons inside the cabin on the forward sliding aft sofa/double bed which also comes as standard equipment in the Cabin version.
The Axopar 28 Cabin’s large/uncluttered aft deck is well suited for fishing, swimming, diving and other on water activities, while the sociable fore deck seating, which is the same on both models, acts as the focal point for al fresco dining and is easily converted into a large size sunbed. From the fore deck there is also access to the large stowage / toilet compartment in front of the helm. An optional pantry with refrigerator, sink and gas cooker is found under the pilot seats inside the cabin.
According to Sakari Mattila, founding partner of Axopar Boats:
“Never underestimate the effects of competitive pricing. We have developed a modular and lightweight design and construction method that together with the use of reliable outboard engines gives us a competitive edge in the commuter boat market, and we expect these models to cause a stir on the coming boat shows in 2014.”
“A lot of work has gone in to the development of these two models to be able to offer boaters something truly new and exiting. There are lots of innovative ideas in these boats ranging from the aft cabin solution with cargo hatch, integrated dashboard to our unique canvas roof.” Jan-Erik Viitala, founding partner of Axopar Boats.
