Aureus XV Absolute in ARC 2013
In November the first Aureus XV Absolute, “Zig Zag Wanderer”, will join the 2013 edition of the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers. This edition will leave Las Palmas on November 25th, for a 2.600 nautical miles navigation to Rodney Bay – Saint Lucia.
Crossing the Atlantic will be a great opportunity to reveal the full potential of this fast offshore sailing yacht. The very light weight of the yacht, due to its carbon/epoxy hull and deck, high modulus carbon mast and boom, together with its D4 vectran sails should be real assets for this race. All comforts and autonomy equipment installed on this luxury cruiser (hydro generator, water maker, fully equipped kitchen, etc.) together with its hydraulic and electrical manoeuvres will make this crossing even more enjoyable!
