We caught up with Michael, who told us that winning the competition has been a truly life-changing experience:
| “Being called on stage to accept the Young Designer of the Year Award was the most exciting moment of my life. I spent the night celebrating, while receiving invaluable advice from designers whose work I have admired for years. With a clear and concise format, the competition allowed me to exercise all my newly learned skills, while being relevant and fun at the same time. It is truly astonishing to be starting out in this industry and have had the opportunity to attend such a prestigious event. The award, along with the entire experience, will be cherished.” |
