Mr. Giovanni Pomati, Nautor’s Swan Group CEO, comments: “Building in Finland, we are proud to be part of the Nord Stream Race, a regatta that embraces the northern part of Europe, that is Nautor’s Swan’s cradle. We are based in Pietarsaari where we have just had an extension of the Boatbuilding Technology Center (BTC). Granting us a better organization, logistic operations, a gain in efficiency and quality for us at Nautor’s.
A great number of Swan owners is located in northern Europe and the interest in our brand is still growing there. This is the reason why we aim to contribute to the relaunch of racing events and rendez-vous in that area.”
The Nord Stream Race is part of The Nations Trophy North European League. The winner will have the chance to participate in the final event of the season, The Nations Trophy which will be held in Palma de Mallorca in October (8th to 12th). More than 40 Swan One Design yachts are expected to attend the regatta representing around 15 countries.
