Sunseeker International achieves RINA Green Plus Yacht Gold Standard Status

Genoa based classification society RINA has granted its environmental notation of RINA Green
Plus Yacht Gold standard to Sunseeker International for its fleet up to and including the Predator
84 (84ft). As all larger craft in the range include bespoke client specifications, it will be possible
to achieve Green Plus notation or upgrade to Gold or Platinum subject to client specification.
All Sunseeker craft throughout the range have attained recognition for incorporating the highest
possible standard of environmental performance and energy efficiency, whilst making a
significant investment with design solutions, onboard equipment and operational procedures;
which all contribute to an improvement in environmental performance beyond the levels
required by international regulation on environmental protection.
The Green Plus Yacht Gold standard category is granted by RINA as further recognition to those
companies that will go that one step further with investing in environmental excellence to
achieve the highest level of certification. To attain Green Plus Yacht Gold standard, the company
was put through a stringent and in-depth testing process where RINA evaluated ten different
pollution sources from engine requirements through to environmental control procedures.
