OTAM Millennium 45 Open and the 55 HT – Debut at FLIBS
OTAM – 60 years of excellence in powerboating – is proud to announce their debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2015 with two timeless yachts that mark the history of the yard: the OTAM Millennium 45 Open and the 55 HT.
The inaugural presence of the yard in the USA was made possible by their collaboration with Denison Yachts and the efforts of an ever faithful OTAM owner, Alain Zenatti, a true brand ambassador, who made his vessel available both his vessel (www.miamicarbonboats.com) and his time for the press.
Mr. Zenatti refers: “I am delighted to have been selected as brand ambassador of Otam for the US. Attending FLIBS together will give me a chance to share, as an Otam owner, my passion for my boat: Otam represents elegance, speed, and high performance, a perfect combination for South Florida from where Bahamas, The Florida keys, Cuba, and all the Caribbean islands can easily be reached”.
The Otam 55′, famous for a propulsion system composed of twin Arneson Drives with two Cat C32 motors delivering 1,724 hp each with a top speed over 55 knots, delivers a unique performance in its category. The design, 18.7 meters long, with a beam of 4.68 meters, is from 2008/2009, and was created as a support boat for super yachts. Almost immediately her performance and level of comfort made her one of the best loved yachts in the charter sector between Miami and Palm Beach, confirmed by the sales of Mr. Zenatti’s OTAM 55 Carbon.
The Otam 45′ Open is another jewel from the Genoese yard that will be showcased in Fort Lauderdale. To their great satisfaction OTAM will show the American market the OTAM yacht created specifically by the owner of the yard in 1998 and completely renewed in 2015. Today the OTAM Millennium 45 defines the standards for her category with a mix of styling, exceptional performance and luxurious appointments. The 45′ offers a spacious cockpit with an open air solarium and salon, while below decks the salon can be altered according to the wishes of the owner. The bridge is airy with excellent visibility. With her two 715 hp Caterpillar motors she has a top speed of 45 knots, easily maintaining a cruising speed of 35 knots.
