New Voyager 56 Flybridge launched by Van den Hoven Jachtbouw
Premium Dutch boatbuilders Van den Hoven have completed the Voyager 56 Fly, a fast-sailing family-oriented motoryacht with fabulous indoor and outdoor spaces. Offering superyacht standards of luxury and comfort for six people, this latest addition to the Voyager line features the inimitable lines and first-class performance of a René van der Velden design.
The Voyager 56 Fly is a motoryacht that cannot be pinned down to a single use or owner type. With her glamorous looks and balanced design, she will be equally at home exploring northern European and Scandinavian waters as cruising the Med or Caribbean. And while Van der Hoven had families in mind when creating a model with a wide range of facilities and safety features to accommodate all ages, her 22-knot top speed and expansive decks would make this a great vessel for couples and friends with adventurous travel in mind.
High-end finish
Whatever the composition of the onboard party, all will benefit from the construction expertise and high-end finish provided by the craftsmen and engineers from the family-run Van den Hoven yard, which celebrated its silver jubilee earlier this year with scores of satisfied owners. The rich experience accrued by René van der Velden as a renowned designer in the superyacht world is also apparent from the exceptional comfort levels offered by the all-aluminium Voyager 56 Fly. An ultra-lightweight hull gives the yacht low fuel consumption levels and a superior degree of seaworthiness.
Outdoor life
Outdoor living was a central element of the original design concept for the 56 Fly and works equally well in practice. The expansive flybridge can truly be called an ‘outdoor lounge’ with some lovely seating, sun beds, an extra steering position and an al fresco galley with fridge.
The large foredeck can easily accommodate six people to relax and enjoy the rays, with the choice to add a sunroof if shade is required. Best of all perhaps, the giant aft deck is big enough to fit an extra corner sofa while the garage has space for a Williams tender and toys.
Indoor comforts
The delightful sense of spaciousness continues in the interior too. The airy main deck combines a lounge, a dining area, a galley and a twin helm, with a close eye for detail apparent throughout, Below decks is a roomy master cabin, a luxurious VIP, a guest cabin and two well-fitted bathrooms and it is clear everything needed for longer stays onboard has been taken into account.
Customisation options
This model of the Voyager 56 Fly is now available for sale and will make her public debut at the Hiswa boat show at the end of August. Clients interested in creating a 56 Fly of their own can make the most of Van der Hoven’s custom approach to change the layout, including the positioning of the stairs to the flybridge or having a different configuration of suites on the lower deck. As with all Van der Hovens, the yacht can be styled to personal preferences and requirements.
Few if any 17.30-metre motoryachts on the market today have an aft deck as inviting as this 56 Fly, which is now available for sale.
