Hallberg-Rassy 55 nominated to Sailboat of the Year in Sweden
The new Hallberg-Rassy 55 is nominated to the award Sailboat of the Year in Sweden. Both Swedish and foreign boats may be nominated by the jury. Last year the HallbergRassy 412 won. The jury said as comment to nominating the Hallberg-Rassy 55 in the category Luxury Cruisers: “A great boat that has already proved to be a good performer. It has a highly developed technology and is lavishly finished. This is a powerful centre cockpit yacht with docking assistance, push button sailing and a large plotter on the pedestal head. That makes this yacht impressively easy to handle and takes this concept to an unexpected level. “ The jury consists of three women and three men and trial sails will take place in October. The winner will be announced at the Boat Show in Gothenburg, February 2014, and is an initiative that aims to draw attention to fine yachts and give Scandinavian boats the same chance as others from Europe by testing them in Swedish waters. The criterion is that the boats should have been presented in Sweden last year.
