H2home series extended with 15 meter version
The floating bungalow range, which shipyard Pedro-Boat introduced at the end of 2011 under the name H2home, is extended with a version of almost 15 meters. With this, the indoor living space, excluding terraces of the H2home, is extended to approximately 52 m². The change with the first H2home is that in the H2home 1490, the roof can also be used as sundeck.
The newest version is standardly equipped with a Kabola central heating system with radiators placed in each room. Together with the well insulating sandwich panels and double glazing, the H2home 1490 can be used 4 seasons. The salon has panoramic windows reaching to the floor, which gives the owner really the feeling of living on the water.
The 2 steel floaters are designed to cause as little drag as possible in the water. On top of this is placed the composite superstructure for the living area. The layout is flexible, but has standard 3 x 2-person cabins, and offers enough space to place an extra sleeping couch. Kitchen, shower compartment with shower cabin and toilet belong to the standard equipment.
The H2home is designed on the basis of a number of criteria. The living area is completely on one level, which means that less mobile sailors do not have the problem of steps or thresholds in the boat. The steering and handling of the H2home is extremely simple, allowing people who have no experience in sailing a boat to handle the H2home effortlessly. Thirdly, the used materials are low in maintenance. The walls of the superstructure e.g. are made of composite and the railing is made from stainless steel.
