Floating Life Charter&Brokerage: new central charter in Greece&Turkey
Yumi – Alalunga 85 Sport is an open cruiser equipped with a hardtop and a propulsion system developed by Andrea Bacigalupo, well-known designer of many super yachts, particularly large open cruisers. For all this summer 2012, Yumi will be based in Greece and available for amazing cruising trip in the Greek Islands and Turkish Aegean coast.
Not just a vacation… If guests are looking for culture, history, traditions, social life, even shopping, Yumi will take them to places where it might seem time has stopped, next to hustling and bustling destinations.
On board, gourmet cuisine is one of our delights, following the Italian and Mediterranean diet: simple, healthy, tasty dishes with daily fresh produce along with special Yumi cellar features excellent wines carefully selected for the onboard enjoyment. Floating Life C&B will suggest to guests favourite routes in the Southeastern Aegean Sea, where guests will be surrounded by a dazzling light and incomparable energy. Yumi base is on the island of Kos. But she can reach most part of Greek destinations in just a few hours.
The design and exterior layout are by Carlo Galeazzi, a naval architect successfully involved in the fascinating world of super yachts, with many projects already completed. The interior compartmentalisation of the “Alalunga 85 Sport” is traditional, featuring four cabins (1for the owner, 1VIPs, and two twin guests, along with 3 of crew), a large saloon and five bathrooms. All of the cabins are equipped with private bathrooms and box showers, while the owner’s cabin has both a Jacuzzi tub and a separate box shower. The interior is done in cherry wood and other fine woods and the shipyard has chosen elegant fabrics and leather in co-ordinated colours for the upholstery.
The interplay of levels created by the designers, as well as the large volumes created by the shape of the hull and superstructure, give this yacht excellent liveability. Inside the area protected by the hardtop, accessible through a crystal glass door, we find the dining/relaxation area, decorated with the same elegant materials as those used in the interior. This line of open cruisers is very attractive and boasts innovative, stylistic solutions usually only found on different boat types, such as the well-protected, wide, lateral walkways and the rounded shape of the superstructures that extend from prow to stern.
A spacious sundeck has been designed forward, with ample room for 8-9 people. The area, perfectly integrated with the superstructure, does not interfere in any way with the boat’s profile. There is another sundeck astern, while the cockpit is the ideal place for dining in the open air and enjoying sailing in maximum comfort. The geometry of the bottom ensures that the boat is always soft on the waves and capable of excellent performance, so that the owner and guests benefit from an appropriate combination of comfort and boating safety.
The numerous technological accessories installed for navigation and communication, along with those for relaxation, such as the hideaway plasma TV, make this yacht modern and well-suited to the requirements of today’s owners. Tender: Zodiac Projet 350 104hp; Seabob Cajago F7. Toys: Kayak x 2 pers, watersky, Jumbo dog banana 5 person. Matrix for 2 and donut.
