The Board of Directors of Finnboat has appointed Jarkko Pajusalo M.Sc. (Econ) (50) Finnboat’s new CEO with effect from 2.1.2017. Pajusalo has a strong business- and organisational background. He has worked for, among others, UPM Kymmene’s USA division and for Outokumpu in Belgium. He has also worked for Finpro in Finland and most recently as director of business activities in Fintra Ltd.

After leading Finnboat activities for 21 years, Jouko Huju will retire from the position of CEO on 2.1.2017. At the annual general meeting in November Huju was elected Finnboat’s Chairman of the Board of Directors for 2017. He also continues as chairman of the board of ICOMIA, the international umbrella organisation for the marine industry and trade.
