MTB fourzero Wheelhouse delivered

Breedendam Yachts

Breedendam Yachts has delivered the first model of its new flagship yacht; the MTB fourzero Wheelhouse, to a delighted new owner after successful sea trials. The delivery follows the fourzero Wheelhouse’s successful world debut at Boot Düsseldorf earlier this year, with the newly-launched yacht combining the best aspects of the MTB 30, and many new features designed in co-operation with Guido de Groot Design.
The first MTB fourzero Wheelhouse is an all-aluminium beauty outfitted with an array of special features to meet the requests of her proud new owner. Diving equipment, an hydraulic bathing ladder and gangway were built into the new vessel by Breedendam Yachts, which features a distinctive hull in a blue colourway.
High performance and made to explore
Her classic looks belie a penchant for performance, with twin Volvo IPS600 engines delivering a top speed of 35 knots. To match the owner’s intentions to cruise both northern Europe and the Caribbean, she is equipped with both air conditioning and central heating, and has a draught of just over a metre, allowing the owner to explore the Dutch Wadden Islands and other regions
with shallow waters.
Cutting edge technologies
Cutting-edge technologies are a feature of all the onboard systems, and an electrical CAN Bus system appliances and equipment to be operated via remote with an iPad. The sunroof and sliding window between the saloon and cockpit are also electrically operated and LED lighting is used throughout, while the three onboard televisions are 4k (Ultra HD).
A timeless yacht, designed around the guests
The MTB fourzero Wheelhouse comfortably sleeps four people within a smart layout including a galley, dinette that can be converted into a double bed, large salon and generous shower. The interior has a relaxed contemporary style that matches the timeless exterior, built largely from teak in line with the high quality for which Breedendam Yachts is renowned. That teak has been contrasted with white surfaces, and lacquered in a way that retains its natural look, with Stainless Steel accents. The curved glass windows in the wheelhouse are
double glazed, while synthetic leathers and outdoor fabrics are used for the sofa upholstery and Alcantara on the walls of the owner’s cabin.
In addition to being soft and comfortable to the touch, the fabrics are extremely strong, durable and stain-resistant. They add value to the contemporary interior style, through a perfect balance of beauty, tradition and technology.
