Jetten Yachting – “100% Dutch Steel Motoryacht”
Jetten Yachting launches the 50 MPC-FLY on the Amsterdam Boat show 2015.“100% Dutch Steel Motoryacht”
Ultimate and sustainable Dutch motor yacht
The partnership between Jetten yachting and Vripack Naval Architects has yielded a unique and innovative design already unsurpassed, called the ‘50 MPC series. The 50 MPC is a technical tour de force combining Dutch yacht-building quality and durability with maximum comfort in contemporary design.
When the 50 MPC was originally designed, it was immediately evident that it would also be followed by a 50 MPC-FLY. This was not due solely to aesthetic reasons, but also because it meant that additional attention could be devoted to the stability and therefore seaworthiness which was one of the major design requirements for the 50 MPC. The FLY bridge is fully integrated in the structure, and is therefore seamlessly merged with the 50 MPC. As a result, both the 50 MPC and 50 MPC-FLY feature stunning lines.
The 50 MPC-FLY has a central steering console surrounded by a sumptuous lounge seat, enabling the skipper to steer in the close company of guests. This is in strong contrast to traditional vessels, where steering on the flybridge is generally a rather isolated affair. It is therefore truly an innovation. However, the design bimini was not simply an afterthought either, as both it and the luxurious sunbeds were added during the initial design phase. The 50 MPC-FLY’s combination of state-of-the-art technologies and design render it truly unique.
The 50 MPC series was developed according to the mid-cabin concept. This implies that the master bedroom is situated in the central section of the yacht, with a view to providing the greatest possible convenience and space. The panorama glazing in the saloon offers a splendid all-round view. And this pleasant feature extends into the master and guest cabins, both of which are fitted with conveniently situated hull windows. The sumptuous floor area of the master cabin offers space for a queen sized bed, a dressing table, a walk-in wardrobe and a luxury en-suite bathroom. The fore section also comprises a VIP room with a queen sized bed, a guest cabin, and a separate second bathroom and shower for guests. The ultimate in convenience.
An exceptional feature of the 50 MPC is its easy convert cabin system, which enables one to adapt the space to any particular requirements. One can therefore create an office with sea view or a luxurious cabin with bunk beds with a minimum of effort.
The 50 MPC-FLY is available with either a full or semi-displacement hull, fitted as standard with economical twin 170 horsepower, 6-cylinder Deutz diesel engines. Should you opt for twin 370 hp engines, however, then the vessel can achieve a top speed of 14 knots. The 50 MPC-FLY therefore offers you a great deal in the way of cruising convenience, regardless of whether you are exploring the Mediterranean or taking a voyage to Scandinavia. The 50 MPC-FLY is 14.92 metres long, 4.88 metres wide and has a draught of 1.30 metres, while it is also CE-A accredited.
