THE FESTIVAL DE LA PLAISANCE CHANGES ITS NAME AND BECOMES THE CANNES YACHTING FESTIVAL
On the occasion of its 37th edition, the Festival is changing its name to the Cannes Yachting Festival.
This new identity conserves the very essence of the Festival and confirms the unique place it holds as a major international boat industry event.
Sylvie Ernoult, Festival Manager, explains the change by “a wish on the part of the owners and organisers to express the increasingly international positioning of the Festival, a major gathering bringing together yacht lovers and industry professionals.”
Europe’s leading in-water boat show, the Cannes Yachting Festival will be open from 9 – 14 September 2014 and plans to present 550 yachts and welcome 50,000 visitors.
