Azimut Grande 100 debuts in Rio de Janeiro Boat Show 2013 Azimut|Benetti Group at full throttle at the 2013 Rio Boat Show with the biggest boat ever attending the Boat Show in his history. In addition Azimut|Benetti Group with a stand size of over 500sqm, very elegant, with some “high design elements” will open its doors to Brazilian yachting passionates. Azimut Grande 100 – 31 meters yacht, designed by Stefano Righini with interior design stemmed from Carlo Galeazzi, has all the distinctive character and dynamism from the collection of mega yachts gliding of the Azimut|Benetti Group. The main deck opens out at the stern through large windows onto the cockpit, passes through the social area, which is composed of two counter posed sofas and a chaise lounge, and continues toward the bow through the dining zone, where a table of stainless steel and glass, positioned at the centre, can accommodate up to ten people. Another space in the bow area, is available for satisfying the yacht owner’s personal requests: media room, fitness area, studio, private saloon, etc. On the flybridge, which gives shape to the desire of boat Owners for an ever more pleasant social atmosphere on board, combined with maximum privacy, we find a dining table with seating for ten, a large sofa in the outside control area, a bar zone with service personnel, a Jacuzzi alongside a sunbed, and a terrace overlooking the sea Two layout configurations are available for the interiors (either four or five cabins), allowing the boat owner to combine his or her personal style – which can be expressed through choice of furniture, decor, fabrics, and materials – with the architecture and solutions offered by the boatyard. In the five-cabin version, the Owner’s suite is on the main deck and spans two levels, with access from an interior corridor and the four cabins located on the lower deck (two VIP cabins with double beds and two twin beds) while the four-cabin version has the Owner’s cabin amidships on the lower deck, the VIP cabin with a double bed in the bow, along with two cabins with twin beds. The boat has two MTU 16V 2000M84 engines delivering 1630 kw of power, enabling her to reach a maximum speed of 26 knots, and a cruising speed of 22.5 knots.
