The launch of the PACHAMAMA, the new Cerry 86 Flyingsport
Marina di Carrara, 4th July 2012 – The technical launch of the 86’ motor-yacht PACHAMAMA was held on 18th June in Marina di Carrara, home to the Cerri shipyard, currently owned by the Gavio Group.
The Pachamama is the twelfth yacht in the successful Cerri 86 Flyingsport series, conceived by Carlo Cerri and combining the comfort of flying-bridge
boats with the high speed and sporty character of large open yachts.
The yacht’s internal layout features two separate salons on two different levels, offering an impressive view over the aft cockpit.Besides the two salons, there are four ensuite cabins for the owner and guests, two ensuite cabins for the crew, the galley and the steering station.Outside, in the aft cockpit, a U-shaped sofa bounds the large sunbathing area and offers a comfortable seating solution at the dining table.The outdoor steering station is located on the flybridge, also featuring comfortable sunbathing cushions.At the bow, two sidewalks lead to a large sunbathing area and a U-shaped sofa ensuring total comfort while cruising and the utmost privacy even when moored.
The Cerri 86 Flyingsport also stands out for her excellent performances:this craft can indeed boast a cruising speed of over 30 knots and a maximum speed of 40 knots thanks to the unique hydrodynamic features of her hull, the two 1950 HP MU engines, and the ZF Searex surface drives. Hull number 13 of the Cerri 86 and hull number 2 of the Cerri 102 are currently under construction at the Marina di Carrara boatyard.
