Sparking Renewed Interest

Looking visually spectacular inside and out, the CE Series 65 is the result of a design collaboration between Barracuda Yacht Design and American trawler-style manufacturer, Offshore Yachts.
The result is an attractive looking, contemporary, deep-V, double-chine hull, with subtle reminders of boats from Offshore Yachts long and successful past.
By virtue of an almost plumb bow, an extended waterline length and flat underwater sections aft, Barracuda’s naval architectural influence has resulted in a low-drag, efficient hull for day-long cruising at low engine revs.

The fly-bridge and superstructure, with its tall and wide windows, makes the yacht feel larger than actually it is, with a light and spacious main saloon integrating with the aft-deck, for an ‘open-plan’ feeling inside.

Based upon how each owner intends to use their yacht – and how much time they prefer to spend outside – ‘Explorer’ and ‘Cruiser’ variations offer different choices, such as a galley-aft, or galley mid- ships, and different use of the foredeck space, and different location for the tender on the fly-bridge, or the swim-platform.

The look and feel of the interior can be expressed through a choice of ‘Classic’ or ‘Contemporary’ styles, with walls, ceilings, furniture, and fabric tastes reflecting the ambiance required.
Accommodation includes a 3x beam-width VIP cabin option – an almost unheard-of feature on most other 65-footers – or a 4x stateroom option with 8-berths is also available.
Additional ensuite crew quarters, or the same space used as an extra- large utility workshop room, can also be requested.

The Seattle based owners of the first CE Series 65 are said to be extremely satisfied and regularly using and enjoying their new yacht, and the 65 to 72ft CE Series range goes to show that American
customers are fully embracing European design ideas.
